The business world is increasingly becoming dependent on technology. The increased dependence is resulting in a range of challenges, including the social, organizational, economic and ethical concerns that might arise. An event of the Information Institute, the conference alternates between the USA and Portugal, thus affording an international flavor to the proceedings. Following each conference, a special issue of Journal of Information System Security is developed based on the best papers presented at the meeting.
